Yoga for Kids and Their Grown-Ups

I received a free copy of the ebook Yoga for Kids and Their Grown-Ups free to review.

Both of my kids do a little bit of limited yoga of their own volition so I like to try and encourage them to do more complex yoga poses and practices. Usually, I use youtube videos because it's easier to explain when it's visual. But since I was offered this free yoga book I thought I'd give it a try. It seems to be a pretty well put together book, I didn't notice any typos. There is minimal art, mostly just simple drawings of the poses. The art is cute and suitable for a kids book. The book divides poses by "position" ie standing, sitting, lying, moving. There are some yoga games included. The games are mostly just simple, common children's games slightly modified (ie, Simon says becomes Yogi says, Musical chairs becomes Musical yoga). The book also suggests that yoga can be beneficial to autistic kids and those with ADHD. It doesn't claim that yoga will be a magic cure for these conditions, but that it may benefit the kiddos, which is true.
