My Lovely Candles Vanilla Soy Candle

I don't really like scented candles because tehy usually smell very artificial and perfumey. But, my husband does like scented candles, and I will begrudgingly admit that they can be helpful when there is a bad odor lingering, so I went ahead and ordered this one to give it a try. I figure, worst case scenario, we have another candle for the next time the electricity is out. When the candle arrived I wasn't sure if I should open it and sniff, because it might stink or have that pefumey quality I hate, but I can't review it if I don't at least give it a whiff. I was pleasantly surprised when I smelled this candle to find that, while the smell is quite strong, it's actually a pleasant smell. This candle actually smells like vanilla. Most vanilla scented candles smell like a cheap, perfumey, artificial knock off of vanilla. But this one smells like actual, real vanilla. I can't say for sure whether I will buy any more candles from this brand, but I'm definately interested in seeing what other scnets they have that might be of interest and I will try burning this one to see if it still smells good when lit.
