I received this SMADZ Solar Motion Light to review.
Last year we decided to buy one of these solar lights at the grocery store to illuminate our walkway and driveway to keep away varmints. Well, the one we got at the store lasted about a month. Then we tried one that was advertised on TV all the time. It laster for a few months. But in the end both of them gave out because wind ripped the light plate from the rest of the device. We have a lot of wind sometimes, but I never thought wind would break them so thoroughly and easily. An outdoor light should be able to withstand winds, in my opinion. So when this one arrived I was happy to see that it looks so much sturdier, always a good start. So we went ahead and put it on the wall by our door. And wouldn't you know, we had a severe windstorm that downed powerlines and trees knocking out the electricity in large parts of the state including our home. Well, this light came through the storm looking as new and unscathed as it did right out of the box. It works really well at illuminating the area. I'm very satisfied with this product and recommend it above all other similar products.
