This is a short book but still an impressive true story of a teen age boy and his fathers struggles to survive the Nazis concentration camps. This book tells of the true horrors many Jewish people were forced to endure during WW2. From being forced from there home to being separated from friends and family. Living in constant fear of brutality and death. This book also details the struggles the survivors faced after the war had ended. What really makes this book so good to read is that it is one of the lesser told story's of the era. You wont hear this one in you history class. I highly recommend this book it is an amazing true story and well worth giving it a read.
