I received a free copy of the ebook Terry Treetop and the Christmas Star to review.
This book is part of the Terry Treetop children's book series. This one is a Christmas story, as made obvious by the title. Like the other books in the series, it is a cute little story about a boy who likes to climb. He rescues a little squirrel from a tree house in the middle of winter and they become friends. The little squirrel then saves the day by helping with the Christmas star. The art style is very simple and is suitable for a children's book. The story is short, simple, and cute. It's nice to see that the art style is less derivative of Disney than it is in some of the other books in the series. All in all, it is a good book (and series of books) for young kids, though I would recommend buying the paperback or hardcover editions as I just don't think ebooks are the best option for children.
