I got this baby monitor to put in Zach's room so I can keep an eye on him without having to go into his room every night. When I go into his room at night to check on him I usually wake him up and he has a hard time getting back to sleep. I would also like to get an extra camera to keep in Scotty's room so I can keep an eye on him as well. Video baby monitors are great for keeping a close eye on little ones without having to barge into their room repeatedly.

So, as I mentioned I planned to put this monitor in Zach's bedroom so I can keep an eye on him at night without waking him up. Because Zach is non-verbal autistic and has extreme trouble sleeping it is important for me to be able to keep track of him at night and make sure he is okay without having to go into his room and potentially wake him up.

So, I decided I would give this monitor a try because it has a few features that I think would be beneficial. The receiver can hook up to four cameras, allowing me to place cameras in both kids' rooms and keep an eye on them. It also has infrared for low light video and allows two-way communications.

Multiple cameras
It's nice to be able to link the monitor to multiple cameras- four of them, to be exact. That means you can have cameras on multiple kiddos at one time, which is great for families with multiple kids. You could also set them up as security cameras if you want to.

Two way communication
It's important to be able to hear what's going on in your kiddos' rooms so you know all is well, but it's nice to be able to talk to them as well, to comfort you littles when you can't get to the room right away.

Infrared
THe camera has infrared for low light conditions so you can see what's going on even in the dark, great for kiddos who like to play around after bed time.

Adjustable camera
You can move this camera left to right and pan it up and down, you can also zoom in a bit. It really is great to be able to adjust the view, especially if your kids are big enough to be out of a crib.

Lullabyes
Okay, so this feature isn't really useful, but it is kind of fun. You can play lullabyes over the monitor for your kiddos. I don't think I'll ever use this feature but I think it is an interesting idea.

All in all, I really think this baby monitor is a good choice. It works well and from what I've seen it has a pretty good range too.
