The Rolling Quarter

The Rolling Quarter is a children's book that tells the story of a quarter on his/her journey from the mint to life in circulation. It is a kind of cute little story, it reminds me of the old School House Rock cartoons from the early nineties. Who else remembers those? They were the best! Anyway, back to the book. We begin in the mint following a quarter blank (unprinted quarter), who is shortly turned into a New York state quarter before his/her journey begins. Along his/her way, he/she meets and befriends a dime and a euro. It is a strange but cute concept that can help children get a rudimentary understanding of how money works. It is a good starter for beginning to teach your children all about money and finance.
