Silverware Set

I am not really in need of any more silverware, we have way more than we could ever use in our silverware drawer. In fact, we actually kind of have too much silverware. But that is quite okay, as this silverware is not going to be placed in the silverware drawer because it is going to be our "special occasion"/family gathering silverware. We don't have a lot of family gatherings or special occasion meals, but it is nice to have a pretty silverware set for that purpose. I love that this silverware set came in such a nice, pretty gold box. The inside of the box is lined with black felt, which left little bits of fuzz on the placemats that are included in this set. The placemats are, quite honestly, my favorite part of this set. They are nice and simple, but still so pretty and perfect for special occasions. They are white with gold flowers and fancy bordering details. I would honestly have bought these placemats without the silverware if that was an option because I like them that much. The silverware is not actually silver, like most flatware it is, in fact, stainless steel. There are two kinds of spoons (soup and dessert maybe?), forks, and butter knives. There are eight place settings total. So if you have a large family you will need to buy more than one set, but for our little family of four, this will work just fine.
