Country Goes Lullaby- Introduce your kids to the music you love!

Lullaby versions of popular music are a nice way to introduce your kids to your favorite kind of music.

Do you like country music? Would you like to introduce your young children to the melodies of country music without the sometimes inappropriate lyrics? Why not check out this country music download available at https://itunes.apple.com/album/id1378860785?ls=1&app=itunes

I grew up on country music, back when country music included a lot less pop and hip-hop elements. I'm really not fond of the fact that country music and pop are now nearly indistinguishable, though I don't mind the hip-hop elements as much. I'm also not a fan of how misogynistic some modern country music is, so I don't like letting my kids listen to it. So I figured I would give this Lullaby renditions a try, maybe it will make modern country music more kid friendly.

So, in the hour leading up to my kids' bedtime, I played this music for them. I'm honestly not fond of it because it uses chimes and they sound bad to me, but since I'm not exactly the target audience I kept it playing anyway. My kids basically ignored this music, they didn't even seem to be aware that it was playing and it didn't really seem to help them wind down and go to sleep. Actually, Zach slept worse afterward. I doubt it's directly related, because he does have some sleep difficulties, but it was kind of interesting.

The songs on this collection are modern country songs, which are not my cup of tea. I love the idea behind it, but the music of choice isn't for me and my family. If you are a fan of modern country, though, and you have young kids who need some new bedtime music, you should definitely check out this collection.
